Review:
This book is great for fans of Ghost Hunters who want to read about the cases that they have seen on TV. The book also has other cases and several pages of photos that make you wonder about exactly what is out there. The book is a great and quick read that will provide you with a nice fill of Ghost Hunters inbetween the weekly episodes. I often go back and read them at random, if I need a little trip into the paranormal.

Review:
A great sequel (maybe even better than) to the original Ghost Hunting. All of the cases are pre-Ghost Hunters and give us insight into just how much experience our favorite group of paranormal researchers have obtained over the years before they even appeared on TV. Grant finally reveals some information about his first paranormal experience and more is said about the "lost" Ghost Hunters episode. Scattered throughout the book are practical tips about conducting investigations and being a ghost hunter yourself. We also get a bit of info about how Steve and Kristyn became a part of T.A.P.S. This book is a must read for any fan of Ghost Hunters.

How To Hunt Ghosts: A Practical Guide

Review:
This book is great because it describes ghost hunting in a good scientific approach, just like how TAPS investigates. It gives a very educational crash course in the ways to study ghosts and spirits. It also delves into more unexplored areas of the paranormal, such as time warps and poltergeist activity. Skeptics would enjoy the very rational and down to earth type of writing style used. A great guide for someone who would like to start conducting their own investigations.
The Complete Idiot's Guide to Ghosts and Hauntings
by Tom Odgen

Review:
You don't need to be a dummy to read this book! Anyone looking for a fun and educating trip should pick up this book, covering everything from the history of ghost hunting to haunted locations around the United States and abroad. A special section on Ghost photos describes how it is possible to fake a photo and how carefull you must be in this area of ghost hunting. A list of items that you would need on a typical night and other practical tips fill the pages. The humorous style of writing will not bore you as you go through the book, making this one a good book for your bookshelf.

The Interntational Directory of Haunted Places
by Dennis Huack

Review:
Maybe you want to visit places a bit further away than from one coast to another? If so, you should pick up this directory, covering places in your own state to others on the other side of the world. Visit the Victorians of San Francisco then travel to Europe and visit an ancient castle ruin known to have something lurking around at night. This book can also be used as a travel directory, offering websites and phone numbers to call in order to actually see these places themselves. Once you've read this book, start planning your trip and prepare for a trip that will give you shivers down your spine.

How to be a Ghost Hunter
by Richard Southall

Review:
This book has good practical advice on starting your own group , conducting an investigation, and reviewing evidence. Forms and lists in the back of the book will help you keep track of interviews, evidence, and contact information. Read about ghost photos, the proper way to use equipment, and getting people to join your group and coming out in a professional manner. If ever you go looking for spooks, bring this book along!

Review:
Ghost Worlds provides a different, more spiritual look at the art of ghost hunting. This book explores different theories on the paranormal and several great accounts. Even though the book may be a departure from the more rational ghost hunting guides listed above, knowledge inside can help you come to your own conclusions about how you would perform your own ghost hunt.

An excellent guide to haunted locations all over the country. The beginning of the book provides a nice , simple history of ghost hunting and the 18th century Spiritualist movements. Filled with plenty of photos and a map, this makes a perfect traveling companion, since it also has useful contact information by region. The layout of the book is very visually appealing and the book never feels to long , in fact you will be facing to the finish.
